Holiday crafts and artisan fairs will be a major feature of the Lighting Festival in Taylors Falls, Nov. 25 - 27.
Saturday, Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. the Wassail Party Craft Fair takes place in Memorial Community Center and across the street in the l852 Town House School. Twenty-one local crafters will be on hand. Deb Goldberg will demonstrate ělamp artî beads which she makes from melted glass. Wassail, Swedish egg coffee, goodies, meatballs/potatoes on a stick and Kettle Korn will be sold for your pleasure.
Also on Saturday, from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., the International Bazaar of imported gifts will be held in the lower level of the 1861 United Methodist Church.
SEERV International provides an outlet and income for as many as 40,000 economically disadvantaged artisans families in 40 developing regions of the world.
Bake sale goodies and lunch meals are also available along with free coffee.
Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. the Polk County, Wisc. Earth Arts Artisans will show quality paintings, pottery, photography, wood turnings and fibers in the Memorial Community Center.
