Erin L. Bergstrom, age 23 of Honolulu, Hawaii, died on Monday, Sept. 26, 2005.
Erin was born the daughter of Brian and Lynn (Grozdanich) Bergstrom on April 23, 1982 in Chisago City, Minn. Erin graduated from North Branch in 2000. That summer she moved with her parents to San Diego, CA, where she attended the University of San Diego. She graduated with honors in 2004.
While at SDU she traveled with school to Australia where she met Brian Gold. In the summer of 2005 they moved to Honolulu to attend the University of Hawaii for their graduate degrees in Environmental Sciences.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather Milan Grozdanich; grandfather Robert Bergstrom; and brother Christopher Bergstrom.
Erin is survived by her parents, Brian and Lynn Bergstrom of San Diego, Calif.; sister, AnnMarie (Joshua) Weiss of River Falls, Wisc.; grandmother Lois Bergstrom of Coon Rapids, Minn.; grandmother Alile Grozdanich of Tempe, Ariz.; nephew Memphis Weiss, of River Falls, Wisc.; boyfriend Brian Gold of Columbia, MD; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, at United Methodist Church in North Branch, Minn. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service
