Car show awards announced

TO THE EDITOR:
The Kruise Knights Car Club of East Central Minnesota would like to thank everyone who participated in the 8th Annual Fall Harvest Festival Classic Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 24 in North Branch.

This year 78 cars were officially registered vying for awards and prizes with approximately 100 cars on display. In spite of the weather, car enthusiasts young and old came to admire these classic beauties sponsored by Anderson & Koch Ford and NAPA Auto Parts.

This yearís awards winners are: Trick Truck ñ Kayla Mortenson, 1951 Chevy Street Rod 2 WD Pickup; Cool Cruiser ñ Lauren & Mavis McCullough, 1958 Chevy Impala; Diamond in the Rough ñ Loren Magnison, 1958 Skoda 440; Envy Award (Should be Mine) ñ Bill Templin, 1966 Ford GT 40; Restored Award ñ Erick Fredstrom, 1930 Tudor Sedan Model A; Nicest Interior ñ Jane Magnison, 1964 Dodge 440 2 Dr Hardtop; Dare to be Different ñ Steve Kidd, 1961 Chevy Covair Rampside; Bad to the Bone ñ Bryan Rudnick, 1965 Chevy II, Best Paint and Best of Show ñ Mike Lucking, 1948 Ford Anglia; and Club Choice ñ Jim Carlson, 1941 Ford Truck
