Boy Scouts from Troop 411, North Branch, were among 600 scouts and adults attending the Fall Rendezvous at the Gopher Rifle & Revolver Club in Harris Sept.22-25.
The Rendezvous features 1800ís style rustic camping, cooking over an open fire, period costumes and campsites, hatchet throwing, black powder rifle shooting, Indian lore, archery, leather crafts and rope-making.
Troop 411 received the 2nd placeaward in the period campsite competition.
Troop 411 scouts in attendance were Spencer Beam, Forrest Cooper, Noah Ellison, Robby Hatch, Ian Maki, Zach Mattson, Cory Ness, Matt Reyer, Drew Short, Garrett Smetana, Frankie Smith. Adult leaders in attendance from Troop 411 were Darren Kolke, Todd Maki, Don Mattson, Dan Short, Scott Smetana, Frank Smith.
