Richard Dean Discher, age 53 of North Branch, Minn., died Sept. 6, 2005 at his home in North Branch from pancreatic cancer.
Richard was born on May 5, 1952 in Bertha, Minn. to Lloyd and Carol (Peterson) Discher.
He attended high school at North St. Paul, Minn. and graduated in 1970. Richard continued his education at vocational school. He worked as a HVAC installer for over 20 years.
On Feb. 12, 1977 he married Debra Ann Plisek in Maplewood, Minn.
Richard was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved horseshoes and his recent travel to Alaska.
Richard is preceded in death by his father Lloyd and sister Becky Discher.
He is survived by wife Debbie; two daughters Annie and Angie; mother Carol Discher; brother Tim; three sisters: Diane Hampton, Pamela Cassad, and Debbie Chapel; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. at Grandstrand Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Hilger officiating. Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery in North Branch.
