Students in North Branch arrived toting brand new backpacks and full of enthusiasm last Thursday, Sept. 1 for the first day back at school. Students in Rush City also returned to the books that same day. Drivers will want to be on the lookout for children getting on and off buses and walking to and from school, especially as the days shorten this fall.
