The Rush City School Board met in special session on Tuesday, Aug. 30 to consider personnel matters.
Former Superintendent James Redfield, under contract on special assignment, had requested reimbursement for his membership dues in the national and state administratorsí organization. Likewise, Redfield had requested reimbursement for some expenses related to travel to and from a national convention.
The board denied both requests.
In other business, the board approved the hire of three new bus drivers for the year.
