If your heart is in the country, join Petersonís Country Mill in North Branch for a celebration of country heritage on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. ñ 2 p.m. Highlights include:

ï Sue Leaf, local author, chronicles the natural history of the area in her book: Potato City: Nature, History and Community in the Age of Sprawl. She will be available for discussion and to autograph copies from 10 a.m. - noon

ïÝWild River Ranch Alpacas will share with the public this luxurious, unusual animal with its calming humming sounds.

ï Insulators and fencing tips presented by Kelly Vaughan, Jag Products, followed by a fencing question and answer session.
