Wayne D. Bloomquist of North Branch died Wednesday, April 5 at Fairview-Southdale Hospital at the age ozf 54.

Wayne was born December 25, 1951 in Minneapolis to Donald and Vernette Bloomquist. He graduated from North Branch High School. He studied drafting at Pine Tech and engineering at the University of Minnesota. On October 24, 1981 he married Jean Weinhardt at Calvary Church of the Nazarene in St. Croix Falls, WI. He worked as an electrical motor technician. Wayne enjoyed reading and sports.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father Donald Bloomquist. He is survived by his wife, Jean, mother Vernette Bloomquist, sisters Laura Bloomquist, and Sara (Craig) Stemen.

Funeral services were Monday, April 10 at Kost Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Dwight Schmidt officiating. Interment was in the St. Croix Falls Cemetery. Arrg. by the Grandstrand Funeral Home.
