Students participated in many activities and workshops in the two days, including letter writing to troops, a knowledge bowl and sharing many ideas for successful fund-raisers and service projects.
The ěbusinessî side of the convention included voting on changes to the MAHS constitution, election of new officers, recognition of outstanding chapters, members, service projects, and yearbooks, and awarding the four MAHS scholarships.
The students were accompanied by advisors Dave and Jan Kozlovsky. According to the Kozlovskys, students always return with enthusiasm and ideas for making next year an even better year for NHS.
ěHaving a state officer will be another opportunity for us to set higher goals for achievement next year.î
