TO THE EDITOR:

I am sad and angry after reading of the trashing of the Ramberg home near Harris. This was my grandparentsí home and where my mother was born and raised. Later, my aunt and uncle lived there with their four sons. I spent many happy hours there, visiting, along with my parents and brother, and enjoying meals at the big table in the kitchen.

After Donald and Marilyn Ramberg purchased the property I was happy to see that they kept the home and outbuildings looking so good, so neat and well-kept. I took some of my grandchildren to see where their great-great grandparents had lived. How many people can do that?

And now some vandals have thoughtlessly desecrated the home and spoiled the memories of the Ramberg family, and my memories and those of my brother and cousins.

I hope they are punished to the full extent of the law, and perhaps more important, that they realize what pain they have caused to so many people.
