The North Branch Area Hockey Association (NBAHA) conducted its annual membership meeting on Thursday, March 30. Along with a report on the status of the multi-purpose arena effort that has gained momentum this year, each year the meeting includes board member elections and disbursement of gambling revenue.

This year, NBAHA made disbursements totaling $80,000 thanks to the successful charitable gambling operations at JJís Bowl (North Branch), Big Daddyís (Harris), and Wild River (Almelund). This yearís disbursement recipients include:

Letís Go Fishing (senior citizen organization)........... $500

Youth Service Bureau ................................... $1000

North Branch Public Library ................................... $1000

North Branch Senior All-Night Party ...................... $1500

John Pinsonneault Scholarship Fund ....................... $2000

North Branch High School Hockey Program ........... $4000

City of North Branch ñ Multi-purpose arena fund .. $70,000
