Michiko Momma, a professional koto player from Japan, will perform Japanese music for a house concert, Saturday, April 29, at 7 p.m. at Sweetgrass Farm in Dalbo, Minn. This will be the American debut for this talented artist.

From 18 years old until she was 24, she lived far from home studying under Ando Masateru and Makise Yuriko with six other young women, including Kohayakawa Shizuko. Upon finishing, Michiko received her license to teach koto.
