Fairview welcomes new staff

ìFamily practice medicine is the only thing I ever wanted to do,î said Debrah D. Erickson, M.D., the newest physician on staff at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, Wyoming. A native of Duluth, Dr. Erickson is now seeing patients in the medical centerís Family Practice Clinic.
Dr. Erickson received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and completed residency in the La Crosse-Mayo Family Medicine Residency Program.
She was inspired to enter medicine by her family physician. ìHe started practice the year before I was born, and heís still my familyís doctor. Heís just this great guy,î she said.
Her special medical interests include womenís and childrenís health, sports medicine and obstetrics. Patients are likely to find her laughing and smiling, as she blends her commitment to take people and their issues seriously with a passion for laughter and enjoyment ofÝlife.
Dr. Erickson chose to practice at Fairview Lakes Medical Center because of its size, its design ñ which blends inpatient and outpatient care, and the fact that it has a large multi-specialty medical group. She also likes the fact that itís half way between her home bases of Duluth and La Crosse.
In her spare time, Dr. Erickson enjoys camping, hiking, biking and running. An avid traveler, she has traveled the globe to provide medical services in Russia, Brazil and South Australia and recently returned from six months in Westport, New Zealand.ÝÝÝ
