Tigers win again, now 5-0

The Tigers ran on all cylinders Tuesday, April 11 against East Central. The Tigers pummeled the Eagles in the conference matchup 11-1 at home in six innings for their fifth consecutive win.
ìWe played well in all areas of the game,î head coach Bob Schlagel said of the outing.
Junior Jake Bosman pitched the complete game. Bosman had nine strikeouts, walked two and allowed five hits for the win.
The Tigers scattered 11 runs evenly throughout the six innings of play. Rush City scored one run in the first, four in the third, five in the fifth and one in the sixth.
Josh Eherich had three hits including a double and one run batted in. Mackenzi Johnson also added three hits and batted in two runs. Adam Best contributed two hits and two runs batted in.
ìWe played much better in this game than our previous game,î Schlagel said. ìWe received a good, strong pitching performance from Bosman as well as good defense and some timely hitting.î
The Tigers 1-0 in the Great River Conference. The Tigers played Hinckley-Finlayson April 18. The results will be in next weeks Post Review.
Their next games is Thursday, April 20 at 4:30 against Braham in Rush City.
