Ardell Bell Johnson, age 81 of North Branch, Minn. died on April 1, 2006 at the Fairview Lakes Hospital in Wyoming, Minn.

Ardell was born on August 8, 1924 on a farm near London, Wisc. to Arnie and Esther (Bjork) Anderson. She attended school at Lake Geneava, Wisc. She then took Nurses training at the Bethesda Hospital and became a Registered Nurse. On March 16, 1946 she married Vernon LeRoy Johnson at the Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch.

Ardell loved her family and was happiest when everyone would gather together. She greeted each new child with open loving arms and viewed them as wonderful gifts from God. Her greatest gift and one true love was her precious husband Vernon, who she is with now in heaven. She also enjoyed decorating her home, reading and journaling.

Preceded in death by husband Vernon and on Stuart.

Survived by 3 daughters Jane OíBrien, Karen (Jerry) Collins and Linda Bahe (Craig); 7 grandchildren Bill OíBrien, John (Kathy) Bahe, Heather (Scott) Carruthers, Martha (Kevin) Bushard, Heidi (Matt) Gorans, Anna (Ryan) Tauer and Kim Oehrlein; 8 great-grandchildren Madison Oehrlein, Ian Carruthers, Sam Oehrlein, Tayva Carruthers, Scott Bushard, Deiken Carruthers, Jordan Gorans, Sean Bushard, and one on the way; 6 brothers Cliff (Pauline) Anderson, Junior Anderson, Andy Anderson, Don (Phylis) Anderson, Hal (Sarah) Anderson and Nolan (Sue) Anderson; sister Marian (Lawrence) Sargent; 5 sister-in-laws Louise Anderson, Luella (George) Johnson, Lolly (Delorn) Lakeburg; Margaret Widell and Vivian Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services April 5, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch, Minn. Visitation Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Grandstrand Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church. Interment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

We are forever changed by the live and blessings that she brought to each of our lives. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
