Eight people were injured in a head-on crash Aug. 12 in North Branch.

At around 11:30 p.m., a vehicle heading east on U.S. Highway 95 struck a vehicle pulling out of Oakview Avenue heading west on U.S Highway 95. Amanda Olson, 22, of Andover was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and criminal vehicular operation.

According to the North Branch incident report, victims were transported to the hospital. As of press time, the extent of the injuries was unknown.

The crash remains under investigation by the state patrol.
