On Aug. 26, the 8th Annual Extra Mile 5K Run/Walk will be held in Chisago City. The race begins at 8 a.m. and is designed for avid runners as well as people wanting to get out for a quick walk. Medals will be given for each division. Prizes will be awarded for the youngest male and female runner, the largest group and the biggest family. Everyone is welcome to participate. Proceeds benefit Family Pathways Circle of Friends program.
