Long time Rush City resident, athlete, sportsman, Eagle Scout, hard-working father and friend Willis R. Sherman, age 72, died peacefully on July 24, 2006 in his Wyoming, Minn. home.

Willie is survived by Elaine (Lindstrom) his loving wife of 52 years, sister Virginia Racchini, daughters Sherry Bruce and Wendy Hiraoka, son Wayne Sherman and granddaughter Jenna Sherman. Many dear friends, extended family, and co-workers will also miss him.

The family wishes to thank his extraordinary team of doctors and nurses.

A private gathering to celebrate his life was held at his home.
