A 22-year-old Minnetonka woman died Saturday evening after crashing her car into the CR 10 bridge on Interstate 35 at Harris.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a state trooper attempted to pull Jenna Sorensen over for speeding.

Instead of complying, she fled north bound on Interstate 35 driving a 1998 Chevy Cavalier and then crashed into the CR 10 bridge. She was the only person in the car. The road conditions were dry.

The incident remains under investigation. It is not known why the woman fled.
