Over 150 players enjoyed fine golf and one anotherís company on Friday, June 16 in the Sixth Annual SCRMC Golf Classic, which raised the funds to purchase specialized colonoscopy equipment.

RiverBank Insurance Centerís John Gauper presented proceeds from the eventóa check for 15,394óto St. Croix Regional Medical Centerís CEO, Lenny Libis, and Max Fehrenbacher, president of the St. Croix Valley Healthcare Foundation.

ìWe were very excited that this yearís Golf Classic actually sold out,î said Gauper. ìRegistrations surpassed our
expectations, confirming that this tournament is a significant area event. The Golf Classic greatly benefits patients throughout the Medical Centerís service area, and weíre pleased to be a sponsor.î

Sandy Williams, SCRMC director of Development and Marketing, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the Medical Center to Gauper and his staff, for their outstanding support and hard work. ìWe want to thank the Frederic Country Club staff and their board members for providing a course in excellent condition and wonderful customer service.î

Williams acknowledged the corporate and hole sponsors and team players who contributed to this fund-raiser. ìWithout their generous support, too,î said Williams, ìthe tremendous success we have achieved again this year simply wouldnít have been possible. Weíre also very proud to mark our sixth year with this event.î

Williams said the real winners ìare all the people in our community and their families who use the Medical Center. The funds we raise further improve the care that patients will receive.î
