Gunnar E. Trulson

Gunnar E. Trulson, age 88, died on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 at the Cambridge Health Care Center. He had resided there for several years.

Gunnar was born on April 29, 1918 in North Branch Township to Gotfred and Helga (Hultman) Trulson.

As a young man, Gunnar worked for farmers in his home area. During WWII he worked at a container factory in the Twin Cities area. In the 1950s he became an avid Bible student as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed the missionary activity of the Witnesses and was an elder in the local congregation for many years - until his death. During the years he also enjoyed raising chickens, ducks and geese. Also feeding and listening to the birds. He found great joy in talking and visiting with friends in person and on the phone.

Gunnar is survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers (Al and Paul) and two sisters (Eva Walquartsen and Clara Mell).

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Cambridge Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, with Sheldon Krantz delivering the memorial address.
