improves to 4- 1

The co-op of Rush City/Pine City drenched their neighbors to the south with 42 shots on their way to an impressive 9-1 win against the Vikings on Dec. 12.

Travis Tacheny scored a hat trick for RCPC and Danny Carlson had four assists in the win. Newcomer Cory Sarago tallied an assists and Tyler Will added a goal in the second period, adding to the team win.

"Everyone played well together and our green and moron lines made several beautiful plays. Our navy and purple lines also gelled together getting several quality scoring changes ..." head coach Tim Schlichting said.

RCPC kept on the wining track with a win against Edision/Roosevelt/South on Dec. 14 by a score of 6-0.

Coach has been impressed with his teams performance so far this season.

"The green line of Neal Schumacher, Houston Carlson, and Travis Tacheny, al of which are seniors, seems unstoppable," Schlichting said.

The teams only loss came during the first game of the season against St. Francis 4-3.

Up next, RCPC plays Moose Lake Area on Dec. 21 and North Branch again on Dec. 28.

"It's fun coaching such a great group of kids," Schlichting said.
