Doris Wilma (Lockwood) Warneke age 83 of North Branch, Minn. died on Dec. 3, 2006 at the Green Acres Country Care Center.

Doris was born on Dec. 27, 1922 in Brainerd, Minn. to Irvin and Amelia (Goetz) Lockwood. She attended high school in Elk River. On May 23, 1942 she married Thomas Warneke. Doris worked mostly as a homemaker.

Doris enjoyed her family time, skating, ball games, picnics, cookie day, any card games, the Minnesota Twins and high school basketball.

Doris is survived by husband Thomas; 6 children Dayle Bathurst, Sandra Boyer, Patricia (James) Fairbanks, Thomas (Constance) Warneke, Cathy (David) West and Dawn (Scott) Deason; 15 grandchildren Lori (Curt) Johnson, Tom (Kathy) Bathurst, Jim Boyer, Jeff (Rachel) Boyer, Joel Boyer, Shelly Fairbanks, Mike (Tracy) Fairbanks, Rich (Jill) Fairbanks, Kelly (Chad) Lachmiller, Nicki (Jeff) Anderson, Chris Warneke, Jacob Warneke, Tara Zander, Missy Zander and Becky Zander; 16 great-grandchildren. Brandon and Ashley Johnson, Caleb Boyer, DJ, Danielle, Don, and Dylan Fairbanks, Clara Fairbanks, Violet and Zander Lachmiller, Tom, Katie and Emma Anderson; many other relatives and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by parents, siblings Leone Bell, Chet Lockwood and Harvey Lockwood, and grandson Andrew Fairbanks.

Funeral services will be held on Dec. 7, 2006 at 11 a.m. from the United Methodist Church in North Branch with Rev. Chris Kneen officiating. interment was in the Stacy-Lent Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch.
