Residents of North Branch and Rush City were treated to visits by Santa and Mrs. Claus last Saturday. Picture taking and requests for that special toy abounded.

At right: It would seem that it takes a woman's touch to calm a crying tot visiting Santa for the first time. Mrs. Claus, who happens to be related to Jeanette Monthye, accompanied Santa to Jacobson Elementary last Saturday for just such occasions.
