The state Financial Crimes Task Force, with the assistance of the Chisago County Sheriffís Office, conducted a search warrant at 34004 Cedar Crest Trail, Fish Lake Twsp., the home of Gregory Tesch, on Feb. 9 at approximately 7:30 a.m.

Recovered items included two one-ton trucks, two snowmobiles and the registration for another, an ATV, a skidsteer complete with assorted attachments, such as a bucket, fork assembly, and an auger, and a shotgun.

According to Sheriff Todd Rivard the items recovered may be tied to a identity theft ìring,î that has been operating in and around the metro area. Rivard noted that several warrants had been served in the greater metro area over the week leading up to the seizure of property from the Tesch home.

There were no arrests made following the raid, and an investigation into the matter continues.
