Two North Branch athletes, Matt Jorgenson and Brindi Eggert, were recently honored as ěTriple Aî athletes for their dedication not just on the field, but off the field as well.
Jorgenson is the son of Jim and Carrie Jorgenson. He participates in soccer and tennis, and is the President of the National honor Society. He has also participated in Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and is the accompanist for the choir.
Jorgenson hopes to attend the University of Minnesota to study psychology and American sign language.
Eggert is the daughter of Wade and Kathy Eggert. She participates on the student council and is a member of the National Honor Society. Earlier in her academic/athletic career, Eggert was involved in volleyball and softball, and is currently a member of the dance team.
Like Jorgenson, Eggert is also involved with the music program at North Branch, including participation in Varsity Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Pep Band.
Eggert plans to attend the University of Minnesota with an eye towards becoming a medical surgeon.
