After a couple of days out of town, North Branch resident Teng Lo returned to his home at 4738 417th Ave., on Sunday afternoon to find his house being robbed in broad daylight.

According to the Chisago County Sheriffís Office, Lo used his own car in an attempt to prevent the robbersí vehicle, occupied by two females and one male, from leaving his property. That attempt was unsuccessful, but Lo managed to get what Sheriff Todd Rivard called ìan excellent descriptionî of not only the car and license plate number, but the suspects as well.

Shortly thereafter, an Isanti County Sheriffís deputy spotted the car at the intersection of CR-65 and 425th Street in Isanti. Arrested on site were Nicholas Jay Williams, 22; Heather Marie Christopherson, 24; and Jennifer Marie Reichert, 23, all of North Branch. All three suspects were transported to the Chisago County Jail for further questioning. Charges against the three include forced-entry burglary of an unoccupied residence. The degree of the crime has not yet been established.

Rivard stated on Monday afternoon that the incident is under investigation and that his department is hoping to tie in other local burglaries to the three suspects. He added that at least one suspect is being cooperative.
