Scott Allen Whipps died Feb. 5, 2006 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.

Scott was born on April 18, 1967 in Cambridge, Minn. to Harvey and Judy (Stauffer) Whipps. He attended high school in North Branch, Minn. and graduated in 1985.

He then attended St. Paul Vo Tech. He worked as a bricklayer for many years.
Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and his dog Maddye.

He was preceded in death by grandparents John and Dorothy Stauffer and Harvey and Lauretta Whipps.

Scott is survived by: Love of his life Kelly Kopka and Maddye; father Harvey (Barb) Whipps; mother Judy (Jim) Schoon; brother Tim (Jamie) Whipps; sister Lisa Whipps; step-brothers Jeff (Melissa) Schoon and Chris Schoon; nephews Zachary and Timothy Jr. Whipps and Patrick Lenihan; niece Abbi Whipps, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m., Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and one hour before services. Interment will be at St. Josephís Catholic Cemetery.
