ìRogerî Paul Peters, age 82 of North Branch/Sunrise, Minn., died on Jan. 31, 2006 at his home.

Roger was born on July 8, 1923 in St. Paul, Minn. to Paul and Grace (Rogers) Peters. He graduated from high school in 1941.

Roger worked as a carpenter and in construction for 30 years and a bar owner in Sunrise for 30 years. He served in the Army during WWII.

Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting and people.

He is preceded in death by wife Delores.

Roger is survived by two brothers Richard and Robert Peters.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 4, 11 a.m. at Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minn.
