What should have been done
TO THE EDITOR:
In regards to Iraq, war should have been the last option, for war means death and destruction. What should have been done was to keep the weapons inspectors in Iraq, period; also the Salvation Army so that no children would be starving.
If Saddam threatened to expel weapons inspectors then tell him okay, we will bomb your palaces. I think that would change his mind.
Also, keep the no-fly zones, and let him pump oil.
But Bush wanted war and he got it. Remember that saying of his, ìbring them onî?
