RCHS grads in military recognized by Wall of Honor

Families are encouraged to add names to this honor board

Rush City High School and the American Legion Post #93 are proud to announce the establishment of a ìWall of Honorî to recognize Rush City graduates who are serving in active military, in active reserve or in a guard unit.

The display is in the glass case by the gym wall in the Commons area at the high school.

Legion Commander Ken Opatz says if you have a family member or friend who is serving in the military and is a graduate of RCHS, send the following information and he or she can be included in the Wall of Honor:

ï photograph of individual
ï name, rank, branch of service
ï year of graduation from RCHS
ï how the individual entered the service (enlisted, officer training, ROTC, etc.)
ï brief military history
ï current duty status and location.

Those already honored on the wall include: Becky Johnson Olson, Steven Meissner, Chris Hacker, Tim Morris, Tiffany Schultz and Jared Carlson.

You can either drop the information off at the high school office or send by mail to: Tigers Den, Rush City High School, P.O. Box 566, Rush City, MN 55069.
