Nick Perrin drained a 15-foot jumper as time ran out to lift the Vikings to a 65-63 win over Waseca at the Owatonna Holiday Tourney Dec. 30.
Perrin, who scored 21 points, had sunk a 15-foot shot over Wasecaís 6í10î center with one minute remaining to tie the game at 63.
The Vikings lost their first game 53-61 against New Prague.
Coach Bill Baumann attributed his teamís strong showing to its depth. ìSome people talk about depth but ours is legitimate. We have nine players in our rotation and all played extremely well,î he said.
The Vikes have a 3-5 record overall.
