Wadena-Deer Creek Community Education welcomes people who love to sew to its 12th Creative Sewing Expo on Feb. 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at MN Community and Technical College in Wadena.

As the only event of its kind in Greater Minnesota, the expo offers a variety of sessions on sewing trends and techniques. This yearís topics include: foiling on fabric, making and using Yo-Yos, thread calligraphy, locker hooking, quick quilting and several styles of jackets and other clothing. There are three hands-on classes on Friday (Feb. 24) evening.

Registrations must be in by Feb. 6.
