Southbound I-35 overnight closures planned next week at Chisago County Road 17 between North Branch and Stacy. Southbound I-35 will be restricted to a single lane between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. Monday, July 17 and Tuesday, July 18. Motorists may also encounter periodic 15 minute full closures of the interstate.

Project information:
Construction crews will set beams for the west span of the new Chisago County Road 17 bridge between North Branch and Stacy. A new diamond interchange and four-lane bridge is being constructed by Chisago County. It is expected to be open to traffic by late November of 2006. Placement of the east span beams is planned for overnight Monday, July 24 and Tuesday, July 25. That work will require lane closures and periodic 15 minute full closures on the northbound interstate during the same time periods.
