Concerts in the Park begin Thursday, June 22

The ìConcerts in the Parkî series in North Branch will be held on Thursday evenings starting at 6:45 p.m. in Central Park throughout the summer beginning this week.
New this year is ìStory Time in the Park.î Guest readers will highlight a favorite selection while parents and children follow along. Free books will be given to the first 50 families each week.
Starting June 22 our readers will be Mayor Gloria Karsky and Francisco Arreola featuring their favorite selection Abuelo and the Bears by Jerry Tello.
This weekís musical entertainment will be a teen battle of the bands to raise money for the Chisago County American Cancer Society Relay for Life. The bands participating are local teens throughout the county. They will be playing a range of music from Blues to Punk. ODYC, a well-known Minneapolis band, will play and judge the show. This eveningís entertainment is courtesy of Personal image Photography.
This is a smoke- and alcohol-free, family friendly event. Bring your blanket, lawn chair and a friend or neighbor to enjoy the eveningís entertainment. The North Branch Area Lioness will provide concessions. This evening of entertainment is supported by the city of North Branch and North Branch Area Chamber of Commerce.
