Seeking volunteers for senior program

East Central Senior Resource Center seeks volunteers to help with the State Health Insurance & Assistance program (SHIP).
Volunteers will be trained through the East Central Senior Resource Center using Minnesota Board on Aging curriculum.
Trained volunteers will provide one-on-one assistance to Medicare beneficiaries or their family members with Medicare benefit questions and help them resolve health insurance matters.
Mileage is reimbursed, and there is ongoing training.
