Vikings send relay team and Ramberg to state

Junior Nick Ramberg had continued success at the section meet on May 31. Ramberg broke the school record in the 800 which set earlier in the season. He qualified for the state meet in the 800 with a time of 1:56 and the mile with a time of 4:29.

The 4x800 relay also qualified for the state meet. The relay team finished first with a time of 8:14. Members of the relay team are Aaron Cedergren, Ryan Norman, J.J. Koerber and Cody Good.

The state meet is June 9 and 10 at Hamline University in St. Paul.

ìOur kids gave it everything they had in every event,î head coach Brian Hasleiet said.

The section meet marked the end of the season for North Branch track. Reflecting on the season, Hasleiet said, ìI am really proud of everyone who competed for us this year. Weíve really had a very good year.î

The girls failed to have anyone qualify for the state meet this season. The girls did have several girls place in the top five.
