Rush City

The Rush City boy's basketball team fell to basketball-powerhouse Braham in the section quarterfinals 113-48 on Mar. 9.

The Tigers were led in scoring by Jake Bosman who finished the night with 16 points, on nine of five from the floor.

"We did an okay job on the offensive end, but very seldom got there because of numerous turnovers," Tigers head coach Gary Dreissig said.

The Tigers finished the season 6-8 in the conference and seven and 15 overall.

Braham advances to play in the section semi finals against Pine City Mar. 11.

North Branch

The North Branch boy's basketball team lost in the section quarterfinals Mar. 9 against Chisago Lakes 55-41.

The Vikings were never able to close the gap and trailed most of the game. At halftime they were down nine.

"It was a microcosm of the year," Vikings head coach Bill Baumann said. "We didn't do things fundamental right."
Chisago Lakes plays Fridley Mar. 13 at Park Center high school.
