Chisago County will apply for State Grant funding to purchase a 40-acre parcel which is directly adjacent to the Checkerboard Park and a 250-acre parcel adjacent to Little Lake.

A meeting will be held on Wednesday March 29, 1:30 p.m. at the Chisago County Parks Office, 38883 7th Ave. North Branch.

You are invited to review the proposal and share comments. The review will include the scope of activities, schedule, costs, financing and other related issues.

A draft copy of the proposed application, together with all attachments and exhibits, shall be available for public inspection in the offices of the Parks Department from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, March 27, and Tuesday, March 28.
