Century College concert band performs March 5

The Century College Concert Band will present its winter concert, ěWhat a Wonderful World,î on Sunday, March 5, at 3 p.m. in the West Campus Theatre. Admission is free.
Concert band selections, under the direction of Charles R. Preis, include: ěRussian Sailorsí Danceî by Reinhold Gliere, ěThe Barber of Sevilleî by Gioachino Rossini, ěDry Your Tears, Afrikaî by John Williams, ěThe Battle Hymn of the Republicî arranged by Peter Wilhousy, and the concertís theme song, ěWhat a Wonderful World.î
Special guest performers include members of the Washburn High School Concert Choir of Minneapolis, the Grace Lutheran Church Sanctuary Choir of St. Paul, the St. Michaelís Singers of St. Michaelís Lutheran Church of Roseville directed by Karen Wilkerson, and the Century College Choir directed by Jocelyn Kalajian.
