The Vikings girlís basketball team beat Spring Lake Park 48-49 in the section 6AAA semifinal game to adavance to the section championship Friday night in Osseo.

Kristen Robatcek led the Vikings with 14 points.

ìKristen Robatcek played well on both ends of the floor and Gabrielle gave her some unbelievable passes on our break,î head coach Dan Schindler said.

Gabrielle Olson dished out nine assists on the game. Olson leads the Northern Suburban conference in assists, averaging 7.1 a game. She averages nearly two more assists a game than the next closest in the conference.

Marlayna Graff had a double double, with 11 points and 15 rebounds.

North Branch plays Rogers, the top seed in the section, Friday at 6:00 in Osseo. The winner will represent Section 6AAA in the state tournament.

ìIt should be an exciting championship game, ì Schindler said.
