Margaret Sybrandt
Margaret Sybrandt, age 83, of Rush City, died at Hillcrest
Care Center on March 6, 2006.
Margaret Sybrandt was born June 5, 1922 in Lane, South Dakota to Gerhard & Hilda (Gerdes) Brunken. When Margaret was a teenager, the family moved to rural Rush City. She graduated from Rush City High School in 1939.
In 1946 she married Stanley Sybrandt. They resided on the family farm and Margaret began working at the Rush City Hospital where she continued to work for over 25 years. She also was employed by Plastech and WCMP radio. Margaret and Stanley left the family farm in 1980 and moved to Harris and then to North Branch where they lived until 2001 when they both returned to Rush City to reside at Hillcrest Care Center. Throughout her life Margaret was always caring for others and was very involved in volunteer activities.
She is survived by daughter Nancy and husband Mark Kath, daughter Carol Heintz, grandchildren Amber and husband Steve Lynch, Andrew Kath, Krystal Heintz, and Brian Heintz.
A memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 10, at the Rush City Covenant Church in Rush City with Pastor Greg Gritz officiating. Friends may gather one hour before the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be greatly appreciated. Private internment at William Taylor Cemetery in Rush City.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the Hillcrest Care Center staff for their wonderful care and concern.
Arrangements were made by Cremation Society of Minnesota.
