Boys and girls drop two straight
The North Branch golf team lost to Benilde-St. Margaret 182-155 May 2 at Meadowbrook Golf Course. John Brooks of Benilde-St. Margaret was the medalist at the meet.

Girls golf
The North Branch girls golf team had a busy first week of May.
On May 1, the girls placed 15 out 19 teams at the Forest Lake Invitational at the Forest Hills Country Club.
ìThe highlight of the tournament for the Vikings was that eighth grader Katie Foley recorded her best 18- hole score,î head coach Dave Ambers said. The team total for 18 holes of golf was 428.

The following day, on May 2, the Vikings played Benilde-St. Margaret at the Rolling Green Country Club. The Vikings lost 190-207. Junior Kelsey Johnson recorded her best score of the season.

For their last meet of the busy week the Vikings hosted Totino Grace at the North Branch golf course on May 4. The Eagles won 194-208.
