The Rush City Community Clean-up day is this Saturday, May 6, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The drop-off site is at the City Maintenance garage at 51447 Forest Blvd. (Co. Rd. 30).

Fees will be charged as follows: Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners $12; Gas and electric ranges, washers, dryers and dishwashers $12; Microwave ovens, TV sets $12; Car tires $1.75 (without rims) $2.20 (with rims); Light truck tires $1.95 (without rims $2.50 (without rims); Semi truck tires $9 (without rims) $10 (with rims); Tractor tires (under 200 lbs.) $40; Bobcat tires $2.50; Water heaters, softeners, furnaces $12; Sofas, large overstuffed chairs, bedsprings, mattresses $15.

Lower fees will be charged to Chisago County residents with proof of residency: Appliances $5; Air conditioners $10; Car tires (with/without rims) $.85; Truck tires (16" to 20", rims $.25 addn'l) $1.25; Semi truck tires (rims $1 addn'l) $7; Tractor tires (under $200 lbs., rims $10 additional) $37.

Fees for other trash will be assessed on site by an employee of East Central Sanitation.

Computers, printers, TVs, fax machines etc. are NO LONGER ACCEPTED - they need to be taken to Recycling for Wildlife from 8 a.m. - noon on Saturdays.

No household or hazardous waste will be accepted!

Also - bring recyclables, brush and compostables, theyíre free.
