Mrs. Linders 3rd, 4th and 5th-grade students from Trinity Christian School presented a patriotic program at the NB senior center on Friday. They started out with the Pledge of Allegiance, sang ìYouíre a Grand Olí Flag,î demonstrated how to fold the flag, did a skit ... ìa Vet is a ëwhoí not a ëwhatíî they learned, sang ìGod Bless Americaî and included recitations such as ìIn Flanders Fieldî and the ìAmerican Creed.î Everyone joined in the National Anthem, and then the students visited with the folks in the audience and shared pictures they had colored. Chisago Co. Vets Service officer Jim Halstrom was on hand for the program. He said he was very proud of the students.
