The East Central Arts Council (ECAC) is hosting the 20th anniversary of the IMAGE 2006 Regional Art Show at the East Central Regional Development Commission (ECRDC) offices, 100 Park St. S., in Mora. This will be a judged art exhibition featuring the work of artists who live in Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine Counties. The judges are: Dr. Lynn Jermal a professor of art education at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls; and Dave Reisinger, Adjunct Professor of Allied Arts/Metal Sculpture at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture.

A wide variety of original artwork will be on display from Nov. 11 ñ 17, at the ECRDC. The classes of artwork are: oil/ acrylic/ mixed media; drawings/ pastels/prints; watercolor/ gouache/casein/ tempera; photography; sculpture; painting; ceramics/ glass; and textile/ fibers.

The show will open to the public on Saturday, Nov.11, a.m. at 2 p.m. The presentation by the judges will begin at 2:30 pm and the show will remain open until 7 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 12, the exhibit will be open from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. In addition, you can view the work Monday through Friday, Nov, 13 - 17, 2006 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
