Kanabec County also participated in the good natured contest. When the results were tallied, Kanabec edged out Chisago County with 2877 pounds of food, to Chisago's 2741 pounds. According to Chisago County's Lori Nelson, county employees will be looking for a little "payback" next year, and are hoping Pierce (Wisc.), Isanti and Mille Lacs Counties will participate as well.
