Find out what local candidates think about the issues that concern you by attending a Candidates Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at the North Branch High School auditorium.

The forum, co-sponsored by the Chisago County League of Women Voters and North Branch Area Community Education, will feature the following candidates: Minnesota House of Representatives District 17B: Jeremy Kalin and Peter Nelson; MN State Senate District 17: Bill Neuman, Sean Nienow and Rick Olseen; Chisago County Board of Commissioners District 2: Russ Gouge and Ben Montzka; Chisago County Board of Commissioners District 4: Richard Greene and Bill Rice; County Attorney: Janet Reiter and Tim Ryan.

It is the Chisago County League of Women Votersí purpose to provide voters with an opportunity to hear the candidates discuss the issues of importance to them in this election. The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan group and does not endorse, support, or oppose political candidates for office. The format for the evening features a combination of predetermined questions with a moderator presiding.
