Gospel Music Jamboree is raising the roof

Posted: 10/18/06

Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity is hosting a Gospel Music Jamboree community benefit concert that is sure to ìraise the roof.î A variety of wonderfully talented musicians will be on hand lending their personal style to some of our favorite gospel music. Local favorites such as the Abrahamson Sisters, Karla Neumann, Barb and Eben Gillespie and the hillbilly cousins from High Ground (Gene VanAlstine and Dr. Dale Berry) are always crowd pleasers.

The concert willİstart at 6:30 p.m. onİSaturday, Oct. 28, at Cambridge Lutheran Church. There are no tickets required.İDonations in the form a free will offering will be accepted.

This concert has been organized to help local families escape poverty housing and the awful circumstances that go alongİwith it.İFourİHabitat houses were built thisİsummer in the East Central Minnesota area and 100% of theİproceeds raised will benefit these homes.
